Poutine testée !

Pour toi cher lecteur, j'ai pris le risque (ou plutôt mon estomac) de gouter la fameuse poutine (voir article "Food") !

La meilleure poutine se situant au Québec, je me suis contentée de la meilleure poutine d'Ottawa chez Smoke's Poutinerie :

For you dear reader, I take the risk (or my stomach take it) to taste the famous poutine (more details : article "Food")!

The best poutine is in Quebec, so I have confined myself to the best Ottawa's poutine at Smoke's Poutenerie :

 



La poutinerie propose différents types de Poutine nature, au porc, au poulet, au boeuf, pour les végétariens...Avec divers types d'agréments : champignons, oignons caramélisés, petits pois, bacon, tomates, poivrons...

Vous pouvez choisir entre petite et grande portion (la petite a déjà une taille conséquente) et les prix sont entre 6 et 10$.

 

The poutinerie offers different types of Poutine traditional, pork, chicken, beef, veggies...With differents ingredients : mushrooms, caramelized onions, peas, bacon, tomato, peppers...

You can choose between small or big size (but the small one is quite big) et the price are between 6 et 10$.

 

Parlons du goût maintenant! J'ai choisi la "country style" : champignons, bacon, fromage, poulet grillé et oignons caramélisés.

 

Speaking of taste, I choose the "country style" : mushrooms, bacon, cheese, grilled chicken and caramelized onions.

 

 Première bonne suprise, l'aspect est moins répugnant que les horribles photos d'internet. Deuxième surprise, c'est tout à fait mangeable ;)! Bon, je n'irais pas jusqu'à dire que j'adore! Comme je l'avais pressenti, il y avait trop de sauce pour moi, je n'ai donc pas fini ma poutine.

En revanche, le mélange reste sympa. Je ne pense pas que j'en re-mangerais un jour, mais je suis contente d'avoir goûtée. Il ne faut pas toujours se fier aux apparences!

 

First good suprise, the appearance is less disgusting than the horrible picture on line! Second suprise, it's totally eatable! Ok, I'm not gonna say that I love it! There is too much sauce for me, I cannot finish it!

However, the poutine is nice and taste good. I'm not gonna eat a Poutine again, but I'm glad to taste it! This is a meal where not all is what it seems!
